Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Develop, Implement and Maintain Internal Audit Charter and champion the Internal Audit function throughout the company; Develop strategic audit plan (for 3 - 5 years
- Effectively perform Internal Audit to ensure that it adds value by providing an independent, cost effective and efficient internal audit service to the Group's Operations in a manner that will accomplish the corporate objectives
- Present the IA findings to the CEO and Chairman on quarterly basis, submit annual report recapping the performance of the IA function during the year; maintain a working knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory instruments, codes of practice, departmental policies and ensure these are adhered to within the section
- Corporate Governance / Risk Management and Recommendations Coordinate with statutory auditors and plan the execution of special investigations requested by management; preparation of long term audit plans having regard to appropriate measure of risk
- Leadership and Delegation - Lead preparation on budgets of internal audit function; coordinate internal audit recruitment, develop IA manual, oversight compliance with IA character and IA manual
- Conducting internal control evaluation and risk assessment to identify loopholes and areas requiring management interventions to prevent frauds, embezzlements, misappropriations, misuse and wastage and ensuring the objectives of the organization are achieved economically, efficiently and effectively
- Preparing an Annual Internal Audit Plan based on risk assessment including task, assignments and timelines for completion for each task and main activities and reporting results of audit;
- Develop the scope for operational, financial and security review projects and select l develop appropriate audit procedures necessary to promote effective review coverage for the manager's approval
- Perform fieldwork in company locations
- Analyze operational and management processes and system's controls effectiveness and efficiency in view to improve them and provide value added recommendations
- Provide assurance on that operations and processes conform to current policies and procedures
- Identify control and processes weakness, document main control points and provide evidential support for report recommendations
- Prepare recommendations for all levels of management, considering materiality, pertinence and documentary evidence
- Present to area management the results, recommendations and conclusions of reviews
- Maintain respectful and effective communication and relationships with management and staff of areas under review
- Prepare draft audit reports in both Arabic and English
- Facilitating and assisting the External Auditor undertaking periodic reviews and annual audit of company Financial Statements as per International Internal Audit Standards (IIAS) and International Standards on Audits )ISA)
- Ensuring that systems exist for generation of accurate and reliable financial and other information
- Execution of special studies and consulting assignments
- Preparation and follow up with company management of the implementation of outstanding recommendation
- Preparing Audit status reports for the management and the Chairman
- Pursue approved program for continuing education in order to remain up - to - date in the audit profession
- Conducting any other related task that may be assigned by the management

Requirements

- Good knowledge of organizations' structure rick management and internal controls
- Ability to work alone and to plan and execute projects with minimum supervision and to complete work within required deadlines
- Knowledge of the business objectives and processes of various and complex environment such as information technology, human resources and operations
- Ability to think "Outside the box" and apply creative and constructive thinking to proposed recommendations for improvements to internal processes controls, procedures and policies
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills inn proposing well - founded conclusions
- Demonstrated initiative, autonomy, adaptability, maturity and sound judgement
- Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management staff
- Demonstrate compliance to the Professional Code of Ethics and the standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing according to the Institute of Internal Auditors
