Alshaya's corporate communications team is expanding to reflect the company's dynamic growth. With opportunities for communicators at senior, manager and executive level, we are looking for talented individuals who want to play a role in shaping and building the reputation of one of the world's leading retail franchise operators. Internal and external communications roles are both on the agenda, and successful candidates will be part of a strategic team that understands what content and channels will build stakeholder and customer awareness, both about Alshaya and our brands.

The Internal Communications Executive will be part of the expanding Corporate Communications team and be accountable for the professional creation and delivery of communications content and activities which build employees' understanding of Alshaya initiatives.

You will:

* Support Alshaya's communications cascade process (announcements, internal events, internal new stories, etc)
* Support development of new channels (i.e. intranet development, social media, etc)
* Support the development of internal communications programmes for key initiatives
* Support the development of best practice, policies and standards to maintain consistency across all communications
* Create and maintain direct internal relationships.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with excellent written English and Arabic skills.

You will have/be:

* A university level education with a Degree in communications or related subject preferable
* At least 3 years' communications experience (international experience an advantage)
* Experience of the successful application of core internal communications disciplines (eg announcement/story drafting, intranet content development, event management, etc.)
* Experience of implementing internal communications campaigns - preferably within a retail or FMCG environment
* Excellent factual and creative writing and editing in English and Arabic
* Strong organisational, planning and project management skills
* Strong interpersonal skills - a collaborative work style, fostering co-operation and teamwork and comfortable working with colleagues from every level of the organisation.
