Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A large global business services/logistics business based in Dubai are looking to replace the Corporate Communications Manager and broaden the role to enhance a more Corporate Affairs centric role.

Reporting to the Group Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications you will be responsible for developing & sustaining the company’s internal image by leading the design and implementation of corporate public relations strategy & activities from intranet to corporate literature.

In addition you will build & maintain a network of high profile relations with the many Middle East/Africa government bodies and media communities across business services, logistics industry and enhance the company across the region.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop & execute a comprehensive corporate internal PR strategy to drive increased coverage and positive perception of the company on a regional level. You will manage corporate news, crisis communication and reputation management activities – including creation and placement of press releases
Create internal capability for representing the company in media interviews, key corporate PR events/meetings and public appearances
Build & regularly keep-active strong relationship with senior stakeholders and government officials, exploiting to defend legitimate company interests and overcome growth barriers e.g. exemptions, regulatory, exports, customs, etc
Recommend, own & champion the implementation of a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for the company.
Manage the corporate PR agencies and coordinate executive public relations programs including press tours programs, etc
Prepare regular reports and presentations for review with the senior management on progress on the corporate PR.

Requirements

Degree Educated, preferable in communications/PR/Corporate affairs
A minimum of 7 years work experience in communications/Corporate Affairs/PR relations from a B2B environment
A track record in internal stakeholder relationships
High command of the English language
Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and C' Level executives
A quick learner with strong project management skills
Able to demonstrate a high degree of composure and influence
Experience in Crisis management
Ability to travel across Africa/US/Europe with limited Visa restrictions
