A reputable retail group is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to develop and manage the Retail Internal Communication Strategy in collaboration with key business stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of information and communications to Retail teams using a range of channels to ensure ease of access, clarity and consistency. This person will have direct communication with all business departments heads, recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, corporate communication and marketing.

Responsibilities:
* Develop a Retail Internal Communications Strategy and System outlining the guidelines for areas such as ongoing employee communication, updates and engagement activities.
* To establish and maintain an integrated, proactive and effective internal communications process within Retail ensuring continuous improvement.
* Participate in the development and the implementation of CSR Strategy in Retail
* Develop an understanding and awareness of the internal communication needs within Retail and across its key stakeholders.
* Own Retail internal communication process delivering timely and effective communications throughout the business including liaising with Heads of various departments to develop and deliver simple coordinated process in order to provide effective and integrated communications.
* Deliver regular communications for all teams through a range of channels, ensuring ease of access to, clarity and consistency of messages.
* Newsletters - responsible to ensure overall consistency of messages, providing a lead in the development and relevance of staff newsletters.
* Bulletins - develop and coordinate e-bulletins for any news updates amongst teams, e.g. recruitment news/training news/promotions and team activities.
* Intranet - Liaising with the Corporate team to continually develop the groups internet as an effective internal communications tool and to ensure it meets the needs of its audience.
* Briefing material - Owning, developing and managing calendars of key messages to ensure consistent, relevant and timely delivery of internal communication material and to avoid message conflicts. Drafting easy to understand briefing material for managers.
* Planning Sessions and seminars - Planning, coordinating and supporting the quarterly planning sessions in association with the GM - HR.
* Develop regular feedback channels to promote cross communication within Retail and to ensure that messages are being delivered in a consistent and timely manner. Monitoring the results of the feedback to ensure continuous improvement in communications.
* Developing knowledge and understanding of internal communication tools and techniques and how these can best be used within Retail.
* Assist the GM of HR in the development and delivery of an evolving internal communications strategy and Retail CSR Strategy.

Requirements

* Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Communication/ Marketing.
* Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant experience, in corporate communications.
* Proficient in English (Arabic is a preference).
* Should have good organisational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Should be able to communicate effectively.
