Internal Controls Manager

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client an MNC within the Oil & Energy sector, we are recruiting the position of Internal Controls Manager. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the assessment, documentation and coordination of all core business processes, risks and internal controls for the organization. The role is responsible for monitoring the internal control environment to ensure reliability of financial statements, effectiveness of business processes, compliance and the protection of company assets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 – 10 years internal controls experience with the finance and accounting function of a multinational organization in the UAE. It is also essential that candidates are educated to bachelor degree level in accounting or finance and hold CPA or CIA accreditation.
