Internal Operations Manager

Job description / Role

The successful candidate should ideally have a solid legal secretarial background with at least 2 years experience working in a similar role. You should possess a high calibre of legal secretarial skills and have previous experience within a law firm or legal division. You should also be able to manage senior Lawyers and Partners and develop with the office. It is essential you are flexible, team focused, happy and willing to assist in all necessary tasks. Additionally you should have exceptional communication and organisation skills along with an ability to thrive in a busy environment where multi-tasking is a forte.Our client, a leading hospitality and business services company, are looking for an Internal Operations Auditor to join their internal audit team in Abu Dhabi.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit the Internal Operations Auditor will be responsible for helping the audit of the business.

Job responsibilities will include but not be limited too the following roles and responsibilities:

- Coordinating work with Risk, Legal & Compliance and other control-related activities and with others & within Internal Audit.
- Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
- Performs audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques
- Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment.
- Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepares timely audit reports for executive management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors

Requirements

- Graduate degree in relevant discipline
- Previous internal audit experience
- 3-4 years' experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent command of English
