Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide coordination support to the Inventory team through communicating with internal customers and any other relevant party to support in the exchange of information and feedback required for the completion of Inventory processes.
- Responsible for conducting physical cycle counts and reconciling count discrepancies as well as preparing and entering purchase orders for all inventory items.
- Analyze excess inventory and apply enhanced processes to reduce overages and dispose obsolete material.
- Manage and schedule the call off order for the contracts for spares and chemicals Produce relevant Sourcing and Inventory Management reports.
- Coordination of all relevant SAP master data generation/amendments from the end user.
- Assess current and future material consumption patterns and propose amendment to inventory parameters.
- Coordinate delivery of outstanding critical materials.
- Follow-up on pending PR with procurement and coordinate with end-user for evaluations and clarifications on the bids.
- Maintain data analysis and possess the ability to extract important information and summarize concisely and accurately in writing or orally.
- Follows all policies, procedures, and safety requirements directed by the company.
- Must be comfortable with heavy data entry as well as hands-on inventory counting.
- Create and maintain reports with reliable/high accuracy information if needed.
- Assist Company to determine best stocking policy for variety of inventory categories.
- Executes and completes the special tasks given by the respective team leaders.
- Utilizes the Computer System to enter all transactions and to resolve complaints from user Department related to quantity of materials delivered. Stock levels existing material quantities etc.
- Carries out spot checks on Materials with a limited shelf life and ensures that write offs are initiated when shelf life expired.

Requirements

- 2-4 years relevant experience in warehouse refinery, Petrochemicals or process industries is required.
- Professional /Technical qualification is an advantage.
- Work experience in planning multi task, and performing turn around activities.
- Knowledge of Ms Office, SAP is advantageous.
- Knowledge of inventory Management techniques.
- English (fluent) required, Arabic is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills; strong Excel skills required.
