Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Inventory analyst plays a very critical role in the inventory control and optimisation process. The Inventory Analyst control the flow of materials from the point of purchase to point of use and ensure that Inventory management process is thoroughly integrated with other PSCM and logistics activities.

* Consistently apply Inventory management procedures to control the flow of materials and associated information from the birth to death.
* Complete documentation and reporting activities with regards to inventory activity.
* Works with Catalog team in the creation and management of duplicate Cat ID's and creation of Cat ID's.
* Evaluates/recommends stock level changes based on inventory investment criteria for approval.
* Maintain accurate monitoring of stock returns and optimize slow moving critical spares.
* Review Stock-Outs identify surplus/excess material.
* Act as liaison with procurement teams and/or vendors with regards to product recalls, part number product updates and NCI/OS&D management.
* Ongoing Analysis and Inventory Optimization of level and criticality information to ensure alignment of line material requirements with inventory strategy
* Verify Inventory through physical inventory counting strategy and to aligned with inventory philosophy and local PSA requ
irements & Adjust Valuations accordingly
* Work with the stakeholders to establish Surplus Identification process and Disposition of Obsolete Material.

Requirements

* Diploma in engineering, logistics , operations management or any science discipline
* Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in inventory management preferably in O&G.
* Good knowledge of Drilling and completion materials.
* Knowledge of best practices in Material Planning and Control.
* Strong system and technical skills that support Materials Management in SAP or similar systems.
