Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Inventory Control Team Leader is responsible for leading his / her team activities to ensure the effective control and updating of inventory figures.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure proper implementation of policies/procedures with the local Inventory managers by providing the needed support to control losses, decrease the shrinkage percentage and validate inventory transaction processes
- Assist in recruiting, training, motivating and evaluating his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company
- Oversee margins on purchase orders and imported data while managing inventory transactions related to sales, receiving, transfers between stores, change of season/prices, devolution and other
- Communicate with local suppliers on alleged credit notes such as; Return To Vendor (RTV), damages, Change of Price (COP), seasonal credit notes and other
- Validate new business processes on the local live environment
- Calculate/analyze costs of sold items (COGS), prepare physical takes schedule and audit the count in the stores

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Accounting/Finance Degree and/or MBA is a plus
- 4-5 years of experience in Inventory or related field; Retail is a plus
- Fluency in English; Specific for Regional
- Proficiency in MS Office and stock accounting program
