Job Description

* The IA provides investment advice to clients and Client Advisors to meet client's desired risk/investment performance requirements and increase bank's ""share of client wallet"". The IA plays a key role in liaising with the product specialists within the Wealth Management team on an ad-hoc basis to discuss client requirements as well as on a more frequent basis to ensure flow of product knowledge.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Investment Advisory:
* Provide independent opinion on quality of client's existing portfolio
* Determine client's risk appetite, investment preference and return expectations by partnering with Client Advisor in client meetings
* Provision of relevant solutions given client needs/ objectives

Excellence:
* Trusted IA of choice
* Provision of insightful analysis of latest market & product information
* A recognized authority in the industry in area of specialization

Product Development:
* Source best of breed products from the market
* Collaboratively create new products with the central product development team
* Provide product managers with ideas for new products driven by client needs

Excellence:
* Pioneer new/ innovative product ideas to client
* Generate new product ideas through understanding client needs

Sales:
* To support investment sales by convincing clients to accept the proposed solution
* Identify cross-selling opportunities
* Improve quality & performance of Investments on offer
* Produce profitable solutions for the client

Transaction Execution
* Cost-effective, speedy & accurate dealing
* Track & provide regular feedback on processed transactions/solution to client

Excellence:
* Create further client opportunities through high quality problem resolution

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

* University Graduate, Professional Markets/Investments qualification.
* Minimum 3 years experience in Banking/Finance.
* Thorough knowledge of treasury & investment products.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
