The RoleThe RoleUnicorn Capital Saudi Arabia (UCSA), majority owned by Unicorn Investment Bank (Unicorn), has received approval from Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) to commence operations in the Kingdom. UCSA will provide the Saudi market with an integrated and comprehensive range of Islamic investment products and services, with the full support and depth of Unicorn, an established Islamic investment bank headquartered in Bahrain. UCSA is a subsidiary of Unicorn Investment Bank B.S.C. (c), an international Islamic investment bank founded in 2004 in Bahrain, and these exciting new roles present opportunities for experienced Sales/Placement professionals to cover the Saudi market. We are looking to appoint experienced Sales/Placement Professionals, who have a proven ability to raise capital (across a range of investment opportunities), to our Investment Development and Distribution (IDD) team, focusing on target market segments in the Saudi marketplace. You will manage and/or contribute to the development of a region/territory within Saudi, driving the business to new heights. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou will enjoy the opportunity to develop investment opportunities and place innovative structured Islamic investment products via your strong networks in the regional investment community (high net worth individuals, governments and sovereign wealth funds, listed and unlisted companies as well as private banking clients). The successful candidates will: • Drive, develop and manage the sales performance for a target market; • Market Unicorn, showcasing and selling business lines/products • Develop and manage relationships with the investor base in the markets • Cultivate new clients and drive additional business activity from the current Unicorn Investment Bank client base • Place product from all business lines • Identify potential fee income mandates for Capital Markets & Corporate Advisory • Source opportunities for the Private Equity and Asset Management divisions • Produce reports on activity, work in progress, market intelligence, market issues, weekly monthly results • Work as part of the IDD team to achieve overall individual and team targets. • Contribute to the strategic direction of the team for the region Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered for these outstanding opportunities, you must be able to demonstrate: • A clear track record in sales of investment products within the GCC • A well developed network of investors in one or more of the target markets • Exceptional communication skills with extensive experience in managing and developing strong relationships in the financial services sector. • A strong banking background with experience of a broad range of Investment banking products Unicorn offers a highly professional environment that is dynamic, challenging and supportive to suitably qualified, self-motivated Sales professionals looking for a career development opportunity where performance is recognised and rewarded.
