The RoleThe RoleJournalist (Bilingual English/Arabic) - International News Agency - Dubai This truly international and expanding news agency seeks to add talented Journalists to its newly established team here in Dubai. The client is in the midst of an extensive expansion process, with the Dubai office being their latest global base. As a Journalist you will write original articles across a broad range of subjects including Political, Economical and Business. Responsibilities • Report on interesting / relevant events / news conferences that you attend • Using news wires you will report on the latest events in real time • Writing original and engaging news articles in Arabic • Adapt and translate stories from other newspaper where necessary • Remain active on social media networks and manage business discussions • Conducting phone or face-to-face interviews to support articles • Gathering information from various different sources to create an original article |
RequirementsRequirementsPerson Specification • Excellent command of both English and Arabic languages • Superb translation skills from English into Arabic • Three to five years Journalistic experience in English/Arabic • Incredible attention to detail • Be up-to-date with and take a keen interest in international business / social / political / economical new • Experience researching and interviewing for cutting edge articles • Effective team player • Used to working in a high-pressure deadline driven environment |
