Job description / Role
The Account Manager will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with assigned customers in Qatar and Kuwait, however the position will be based in Dubai. The role includes coordination between company and the needs of its distributors, training, organizing events, product development, and market research. This will involve visits to distributors in designated markets like Qatar and Kuwait. The position requires accountability for marketing plan development, product training & coaching, and overall retail conditions and product movement in the market.
Responsibilities:
- To conduct regular training and counseling to merchandisers and sales field support to enhance their product knowledge.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to designated customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate internally to ensure growth attainment
- To provide regular reports on competition in the market in terms of prices, offers, new products and advertising.
- To understand the product range and technologies and exhibit good product knowledge when corresponding to customers
- Any other tasks as outlined by the Company Management, being flexible in approach to the business demands.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, product development and training
- Bachelor degree or equivalent with very relevant exposure to Channel and Retail sales scenario
- Previous experience with international home appliances brands is a must
- Can undertake frequent travels within MEA to train sales force and visit customers
- Excellent Communication skills in English , Arabic will be added value
