Our client is one of the most recognisable names in the Financial Services industry and is in an enviable position to be able to recruit high-calibre professionals across the business.
Reporting directly to the Head of Group Business Continuity Management, you will be responsible for providing professional support to the unit in introducing and implementing the BCM framework, including monitoring, reviewing, analysing and reporting BCM related results in various areas of the Bank
Accountabilities:
Assisting the business to ensure the Business areas within have current business continuity plans by:
Assessment of potential business impact through Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
Designing, development and documentation of business continuity plans
Implementation of recovery solutions
Developing schedules for training / awareness for business partner associates
Coordinate development of business units schedules for annual business continuity documentation, maintenance and update, services and independent review and validation
Provide support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs
Maintaining the central repository of up to date documents e.g. plans and recovery documentation
Maintaining the Group BCP websites with the latest plans and information
Requirements
Experience:
Bachelors degree in a related financial subject
2-3 years’ experience in banking, business continuity and related fields
Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in report locations
Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates
Please note this is a UAE National hire
