Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a GCC based fashion and sports brand in their search for a young, energetic and enthusiastic Buyer based in Qatar.

As the Buyer you will be in charge of making key decisions throughout the buying process. You will select new products, review the old, find suppliers, negotiate prices and ensure that all products are consistently delivered on time.

You will also maintain healthy relationships with existing suppliers whilst constantly looking for new clients and opportunities. Interpreting reports, forecasting future sales stock and coordinating all activities to ensure cost effective procurement of all merchandise will also be key roles in this position.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a strong passion for products and merchandise and have excellent negotiation and influencing skills. It is essential you have previous experience in retail buying and a relevant retail or business qualification. Your merchant and retail abilities should demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the market place, competitors and customer needs.
