Junior Civil Engineer - Port Operations - Um-Qasr, Iraq

A leading port operations company, working heavily in the Engineering industry, are looking for a Junior Civil Engineer, to be based in their Um-Qasr Office.

The Junior Civil Engineer will ideally have experience of working in a port environment, but this is not essential.

The main responsibilities of the successful Junior Civil Engineer will be:
- Assist with the port operations responsibilities throughout the port.
- Work closely with senior staff to help develop your professional skills.
- Provide assistance while conducting onsite visits with inspections and assessments of the quality of work.
- Creating the Technical Reports to be provided to the senior management.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
- 1 year of experience of working in Civil Engineering.
- Experience of working with; Ports, Harbours or rigs will be highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
- Strong computer skills with; Microsoft Office, Project Adobe and AutoCAD.
