The Role


Our client, an International Oil and Gas Company, is urgently looking for an experienced Emirati-Junior Events Coordinator. This position will be based in Abu Dhabi

Essential Job Duties:

Provide administrative support to the Executive Associate & Public Affairs Specialist including maintenance of calendar / vendor contact lists, coordination of travel, conferences and events organized from this office.

Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:

Administrative support;
Assisting with arrangements for conferences and other similar events;
Coordinating with vendors/3rd parties for conferences, promotional gifts etc;
Monitor local media for new events and opportunities to promote the company in the Oil & Gas Industry
Arabic Translations
Managing the stands and attending events

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or higher in Mass Communication or other related area.
1 -3 years administrative experience, preferably in Oil & Gas industry or
1 - 3 years experience in event coordination and/or public affairs.
Excellent written and reading skills; fluent in English & Arabic.
Ability to interact with all levels of employees, including senior executives, in a courteous, helpful and professional manner.
Highly motivated, fast learning individual with self-starting attitude.
Strong interpersonal, planning and priority setting skills.
Must have the ability to work independently.
Available to work occasional overtime and travel on company business when requested.
