The RoleThe RoleOur client, a governmental organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Junior Events Coordinator to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate has to provide administrative support to the Executive Associate & Public Affairs Specialist including maintenance of calendar / vendor contact lists, coordination of travel, conferences and events organized. The role requires working overtime occasionally and travel on company business when requested. Responsibilities: • Arabic Translations. • Administrative support. • Manage the stands and attend events. • Assist with arrangements for conferences and other similar events. • Coordinate with vendors or third parties for conferences, promotional gifts, etc. • Monitor local media for new events and opportunities to promote the company in the Oil & Gas Industry. |
RequirementsRequirements• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mass Communication or other related areas. • At least1 -3 years of administrative experience, preferably in Oil & Gas industry or 1 - 3 years OF experience in event coordination and/or public affairs in the GCC. • Ability to interact with all levels of employees, including senior executives, in a courteous, helpful and professional manner. • Must be based in the UAE and must be fluent in English as well as Arabic.
