About the Business
Description and Desired Qualifications
CH2M HILL - Junior Financial Analyst - Dubai, UAE
Job Purpose:Additional personnel due to increased volume of workload.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Participating in a wide variety of financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and planning activities, e.g. weekly reporting, monthly reporting & analysis, quarterly forecasting & annual budgeting
• Preparing information requests and subsequently compiling, organizing and analyzing data received
• Reviewing & identifying efficiency gaps in business systems (i.e. optimal use of IT tools)
• Assisting with ad-hoc supplemental, routine financial analysis and presentation materials
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualification:Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• At least 3 years of financial analysis/financial modeling experience required
• Exposure to construction and engineering industry is highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Visual Basic, SQL required
• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase, SAP BPC or similar
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be a team player who can also work independently
• Ability to handle concurrent priorities in a fast paced environment
• Highly analytical
• Holds self, accountable for assigned responsibilities
• Proactive, detail oriented and results driven
