The Role

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation, design and presentation of high quality landscape concept designs. Detailed Site Construction Plan preparation (production of design package).
- Exterior Hardscape
- Interior and Exterior Softscape
- Solid grading plan skills
- Site Details (ability to prepare cross sections, material call outs and plan view of site details)
- Shade Structures
- Water Feature Design / Detail
- Lighting Design
- Irrigation Design
- Specifications
- Quantities (assist in preparation of BoQ).

Compiles and analyzes data on such site conditions as geographic location, soil, vegetation, and rock features, drainage, and location of structures for preparation of environmental impact report and development of landscaping plans. Coordination with other relevant disciplines such as Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Landscape Architecture with minimum twelve (12) years experience with landscaping design for roadway, single site design (including retail, commercial, restaurant, office, institutional, etc.) and other civil projects.

Ideal candidate should have good design and presentation skills, creative ability, imagination and enthusiasm, good observation skills, an eye for details, strong ability to project manage and track all components of a project as related to Landscape and beyond. Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate in graphic, verbal and written form. Team player (working with those at various organizational levels). Take direction well and implement changes as necessary. Ability to do conceptual plans and presentations. Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment. Strong desire to be the best and produce the best work. Proficient in computer programs - AutoCAD, MicroStation, Adobe PhotoShop (is a plus), Sketch-Up, 3D Studio Max (is a plus), PowerPoint, Indesign (is a plus)
