Employment: Full Time

Our client is one of the leading global high-end hotel companies in the world. With a prestigious network of hotels and leisure complex the legal affairs are very interesting and varied, with activity ranging from management and leasing agreements to major real estate projects. The team in Dubai is managed by a reputable General Counsel in the region and is known for recruiting an excellent team of quality lawyers. Due to growth and major plans for the future, the GC is looking for an Arabic Speaking Lawyer who will enjoy a fast past and learned environment that offers travel across the GCC.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities
• Support and develop with a strong international legal team;
• Involvement in complicated contract drafting;
• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, management agreement, ground leases, and development agreements, handling legal due diligence, coordinating with other members of the development team;
• Project involvement, particularly real estate;
• Meeting major clients across the Middle East, particularly KSA

Requirements

• Role is Dubai (UAE) based
• Required experience is between 2-3 years (ideally with a top tier law firm)
• Must able to read and speak in Arabic (drafting in Arabic is not required), must have an excellent level of English drafting.
• Must have possess a UK or US legal qualification (LLB, LLM an JD considered)
• Real Estate experience is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will possess an excellent UK or US education in common law, ideally worked within a top tier law firm with exposure to contract management and real estate affairs, although a quality lawyers directly from the real estate industry will still be considered
