Our client is one of the most recognisable names in the Financial Services industry and is in an enviable position to be able to recruit high-calibre professionals across the business
Reporting directly to the Head of Group Operational Risk Management, you will assume primary responsibility for facilitation and execution of Risk Service Agreements and Operational Risk Action Plans. You will assist in implementing key risk indicator & key operational risk control programs and handling incident reporting (Operational Loss Data) as well as providing support across the function
Accountabilities:
Learn and master the techniques, methodologies and processes of all the 5 ORM tools
Assist business line management to plan their ORM activities relating to application of ORM Tools within their business units by providing necessary advice and recommendations
Ensure adequate and consistent standards for the RSA processes and ORAPs by complying with the relevant policies and procedures by acting as a co-facilitator
Ensure archiving, as per the workflows laid down proper for archiving, of all activities performed specially the ORM tools implementation
Prepare regular management reports to monitor performance and progress, and summarise the results of ORM tools completed by various business units
Serve as the centre of excellence by providing a helpdesk function to answer queries raised by line management on any RSA related issues
Continue to identify and review shortcomings or improvement opportunities and prepare recommendations to improve the ORM tools techniques, methodologies and processes
Requirements
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related financial subject
2-3 years’ experience in banking, risk and related fields
Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in report locations
Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates
Operational Risk Management knowledge
Willingness to learn
