The RoleThe RoleExcellent opportunity for a graduate with a strong record of academic achievement coupled with experience of working with investment products to move in to a client facing position which will develop in to a private client investment manager position. You will work closely with senior members of the Dubai office to develop the required skills and experience over a 9 – 12 month period. • To assist with building awareness of the company within the Middle East through attendance of networking and social events • To identify and introduce new clients based in the Middle East & Asia • To provide first point of contact for clients in the absence of the Investment Manager or Relationship Manager • Growing and developing the branch revenue base through seeking out new clients for the office • Working with clients, act as a point of contact for client queries and work with colleagues in Dubai and the UK (front and middle office) for a timely resolution of these. • Establish long term relationships with clients referred to the Dubai office • Checking and sending client correspondence • Work with the Country Manager to reactivate relationships with clients • Work closely with colleagues to: - gather client information; deliver high standard reports and proposals to clients in agreed timescales - researching appropriate solutions for clients - maintain accurate electronic/paper based client file records |
RequirementsRequirementsEducated to degree level with proven experience of working with investment products through internships or previous work experience. • You will ideally hold the securities representative examination, CISI Certificate in Securities or CISI Level Four Diploma in Investment Advice or have a willingness to take these qualifications. • A demonstrable interest in financial markets and a good foundation level knowledge of funds, equities, fixed income. • Experience in a financial markets role either through internships or work experience. • Written and verbal fluency in English |
