The RoleThe RoleAl-Futtaim Panatech, part of the Al-Futtaim Group' Electronics and Engineering Division, is the sole distributor for Panasonic in UAE. Panasonic commands over 20% share of UAE's market for consumer electronics, and is the leader in many categories. The Panasonic brand name is synonymous with cutting edge technology, and is the only brand to have a diverse presence in multiple categories like Audio, Video, Home Appliances, Personal Products, Health & Beauty Care, Telecommunication, Office Automation, Professional Broadcasting, Air-conditioning, Security, Lighting and Building products. Al-Futtaim Panatech markets Panasonic in the UAE through six branches employing over 250 people in sales, logistics and customer service. The retail strength boasts of a network of over 400 dealers & five showrooms, spread across the UAE. In this role you will be responsible for: • Allocate monthly targets, oversee and drive the performance of the sales team with the objective of meeting budgets. • Regularly receive feedback about performance of sales teams, through reports from supervisors in different locations, or through a personal visit • Negotiate with dealers with high customer footfall for maintaining targeted ratio of company products vis a vis competitor's products. Based on agreements made regarding costs place claims on principals for contributions • Ensure that the sales teams in the various locations in UAE are regularly updated with the information, promotion material, product catalogue etc so that visibility of company products can be maximised and revenue targets met. • Plan and allocate manpower for all locations, ensure they are adequately trained about company products, have information about revenue targets to be achieved, assess performance, calculate incentives with the objective of ensuring that the manpower resources is effectively managed and sales effort maximised. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be successful in winning this role, you will be able to demonstrate: • Experience in field sales with focus on key account management • Thorough understanding of electronics industry • Proficiency in English is a must while knowledge of spoken Arabic could be a distinct advantage. • UAE valid Driving License would be essential. |
