Job description / Role
The Main Purpose of the Role:
- Manage the movement of products out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international laws and process.
- Plan and manage overseas sales through distributors and other relevant sales outlets.
- Negotiate contracts for sales and manage renew, review contracts as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer relations.
Requirements
The main areas of responsibility:
- To gain market knowledge of competitors/players in the market
- Introduce new and existing products
- Show the client the benefits of selling Del Monte products in their stores
- Understand the operation style of each client
- Review the pre sales of Del Monte products and analyze the information
- Agree credit terms with clients
- Create a route analysis by interacting with distributors and analyzing the sales strategies, sales force, sales organization structure, in order to analyze the sales teams rout plans.
- Train subordinates
- Create a sales cycle
- Monitor the budgets, discounts/spent
Dimensions of the Job (targets):
- Increase sales and maintain clients
Work allocation, review and approval:
- Sales Director allocates the work
- Send a weekly report to Sales Director for review and approval
Unusual features of the job:
- Travel within MENA Countries TBC based on availability and requirement
Major Problems encountered when carrying out role:
- Logistics / Shipping
- No supply chain to bridge the gap between sales, marketing and logistics
Knowledge and Skills needed:
- Background in sales
- Presentation/Proposal skills
- FMCG Background
- Negotiation skills
- University graduate
- Excellent follow up skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluent in English & Arabic. Additional languages are a plus
- Friendly and confident manner with a pleasant personality
- Able to clearly present product and service information
- Good personal presentation
- Excellent communication skills
