Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is an FMCG company based in Dubai. They are seeking a Key Account Manager to play a key role in profitably growing the business in the region, so as to achieve the planned profitability, turnover, market share and customer satisfaction criteria agreed to in the strategic plan.

Job Responsibilities
• Managing the relationships with the key accounts effectively.
• Achieve targeted profits, sales turnover, market share and customer service levels as outlined and agreed to in the business plans.
• Work actively towards building professional relationships with potential and existing customers which will increase sales revenue.
• Agree on Service contracts with the Customers and ensure that delivery against the contract is as per service standards agreed.
• Identify the different segments in the market and develop and implement appropriate sales strategies for each individual account working in close coordination with Category Specialists.
• In co-ordination with the Marketing team, give inputs and recommendations for brand marketing plans and implement the trade marketing plans for his/her area of operation with the objective of brand building.
• Ensure that information regarding forecasts are given to the Managers in a way which contributes towards accuracy of overall forecasting.
• Analyse together with the Sales Manager, the sales trends in his accounts across various categories and develop appropriate Sales Strategies to maximize sales.
• Constantly update himself on the latest trends and best practices within the business, so as to contribute to the excellence of the organization.
• Completely understand, respect and function within the team he/ she operates, so that complete alignment with the organizational goals is achieved.

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of substantial Sales Experience in FMCG/liquor company
• Currently based in Western Markets
• Must hold a Bachelors Degree
• Excellent Public Speaking skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to build relationships
• Decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills
