Key Account Manager - WINES

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Account Manager with experience with Wines and Spirits to join a leading Hospitality, Retail and F&B company based in Dubai. Bringing some of the most dynamic and popular bars, restaurants, outlets in the region, you would have the opportunity to work with the best.

You will be the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating all sales, marketing and wine activity ultimately creating profitable change for both the customer and the business.

Main External Relationships:
Account F&B Managers, Purchasing/Outlet Managers and employees

The job holder is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
- Drive budgeted revenue and margin targets within budgeted cost limits across the assigned territory by building strong business relationships with key customers
- Embrace the Companies On Trade strategic initiatives ensuring that key brand distribution and volume targets are achieved consistently
- Update and utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure that all opportunities are identified to maximize business opportunity in line with the quarterly pre-agreed account objectives
- Work closely with the key category managers across the spirit, wines and beer teams ensuring that all activations and promotions are implemented within the set time parameters
- Ensure coverage across key territories by effective journey planning
- Accurately forecast key SKUs at customer level, ensuring that out-of-stock scenarios are avoided wherever possible
- Possess a passion and understanding of wines allowing the job holder to maximise the companies share of key outlet wine lists at relevant price points
- To lead the successful negotiation of key account contracts driving the relevant areas revenue, margin and market share
- Conduct quarterly reviews for all key accounts, communicating trends in the market place and identifying new opportunity to drive business for all concerned parties
- Contribute towards the achievement of key brand volumes / objectives / strategies and distribution targets set and communicated on a quarterly/yearly basis focusing on strategically important leading and priority brands

Requirements

Essential:
- Wine experience
- Key account management experience
- Strong financial acumen
- Analytical thinking
- Degree qualified
Desirable:
- WSET Advanced or equivalent specialized professional qualification
- Strong passion for wine
