Job description / Role
Salary : 20,000-25,000 AED
Our client is one of the world's leading providers of supply chain solutions, combining its core products of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Logistics to deliver globally integrated, tailor-made end-to-end solutions. The client group operates a global network with some 500 offices in more than 80 countries, and employs around 15,000 people worldwide. Due to an internal promotion they are now seeking a Key Accounts Manager to focus on the logistics and shipping for the Automotive & Manufacturing sectors.
Reporting to the Head of Sales you will be responsible for managing and developing the portfolio. Being a natural hunter and gatherer you will love to farm existing clients and gain committed relationships as well as source new opportunities in the vertical. This role is based in the UAE but you will be responsible for the GCC region which means some travel may be required
Responsibilities :
- Generate business with assigned key accounts and achieve targets in line with the sales plan
- Assure the successful client integration along with support functions
- Provide information to Country Head of Marketing & Sales for the sales planning and forecast activities (including prospect qualification and local market intelligence)
- Provide client and target information, maintain CRM with 100% accuracy on every sales call and visits
- Execute sales process and achieve required sales visits
- Contact potential customers to profile and qualify for business opportunity
- Draw detailed client SOPs to ensure the proper and successful operational execution
- Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, understanding of customer requirements, analysis and resolution of problems and complaints in coordination with Customer Services department
Requirements
- Business administration / commercial background
- Sales experience within the same industry
- Functional experience in air & sea freight forwarding and customs brokerage
- Local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers)
- Ability to successfully execute the sales process.
- Ability to manage cross-functional interfaces
- Self-management (Planning, Organizing & Goal Setting, Execution)
- Strong Decision-making capabilities
- Self-driven and with strong spoken and written communication skills
- Relationship building and maintenance capabilities
- Results oriented, persistence and customer focus
- Excellent Presentation skills
- CRM exposure and knowledge is required
