JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the day to day operation with regards to all aspects of operation, support and sales.

Reporting to the Operations Manage, V-Rents, the Key Account Manager is responsible for driving the day to day operation through the entire fleet, starting with 84 equipment. He will provide consistent and efficient support to the team throughout but not limited to Abu Dhabi, Oil and Gas Sector.

This knowledge based resource will drive the products life cycle including product selection and support, spare parts supply and dealers' service planning, spare parts stock forecasting. Support will encompass all forms of after sale to ensure the smooth running of equipment.
This role is the key link between Famco Rental and all equipment's suppliers and end users; ensuring efficient supply chain principles are applied across the scope of supply.

DESCRIPTION: FAMCO
* Primary point of contact with Customer, including Products Supply, Rental Pricing, After Sale Support, technical & lead-times.

Clients
* Decide and manage product range suitable to clients.
* Investigate options for projects extensions.
* Planning & Forecasting.
* In conjunction with clients' anticipated requirement, ensuring Manufactures / Suppliers. forecasting plans are affected to suit.
* Manage spare parts and after sale support levels to support supplied equipment.

Product
* Take feedback from management and establish product pricing levels.
* Negotiate requirement with client on project basis.

Technical Support
* Management and coordination with relevant suppliers.
* Ensure technical updates are shared with relevant use.
* Ensure all supplied products comply with Customer requirements.
* Optimize supply solution for to meet rental requirement.
* Attend client meetings as required and provide front line backup.

Manage an effective support system
* Update Management with clients' requirement variation; specs and quantities.
* Key account development across appointed client / industry segment.
* Develop & support Key Accounts across UAE in conjunction with relevant suppliers.
* Expansion of V-Rents national and regional rental opportunities by identifying & leveraging of Key Account relationships.

Process Management
* Develop & establish processes to streamline operations from enquiry to project completion.
* Develop the FAMCO Rental brand.
* Professional representation at all times for FAMCO- Rental brand positioning.
* Identify opportunities to promote the brand.
* Become known as the Rental expert on the rental industry.

JOB CONTEXT:
The Key Account Manager will head & lead related functions pertaining to the customer support for V-Rents within the assigned territories. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, V-Rents, the Key Accounts Manager is a key member of the FAMCO V- Rents management team, and represents the organisation for all aspects of V-Rents customer support and supply. The holder must be technically skills based, with sales and commercial acumen. The drive must be to provide support excellence that ensures results and growth throughout the region / client. Broad ranging industry knowledge must be inherent and continually developed to maintain the competitive edge. Communication and negotiation with suppliers and clients across the appointed territories with regards to support issues. A focus on best practice, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and the drive for industry leadership.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

* Bachelor Degree with Engineering background/ preferable mechanical.
* Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels within government and private sectors.
* Work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to simultaneously manage several projects.

Minimum Experience:
* This position requires business maturity, excellent judgment and a hands-on entrepreneurial spirit. Successful candidates generally have 5-10 years of professional machinery or industrial capital equipment support experience.

Job-Specific Skills:
* Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills. Leadership, planning and organisation.
* Strong analytical skills, strong customer relationship skills including the ability to present.
* Problem solving.
* Position requires a valid driving license. Must be PC literate.
