L&D Specialist

Job description / Role

A leading Telecoms company is looking for an experienced L&D Specialist to join their team in Dubai.

The main responsibilities:
- Working with the Learning & Development team in the delivery of all Company training and requirements within the L&D strategy
- Defining the annual road map of Soft Skill delivery and Management Development programmes activities to develop our leaders in line with resource planning and skill needs to meet required deadlines
- Understanding and defining training needs across all channels and implementing training programmes to ensure the workforce have the necessary skills and knowledge
- Training material Instructional design, produce content solutions that are delivered in a blended and innovative way and take into account all learning styles
- Ability to deliver soft skills courses and Management Programme interventions in a facilitative mode of delivery with groups and one to one basis to ensure maximum impact

Requirements

- Experience in a similar role with a track record within learning and development with a strong learning needs analysis, design delivery and evaluation of training schemes
- Excellent knowledge of L&D theory and best practice
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and influencing skills
- Good understanding of competency framework and differentiating levels
- Excellent knowledge of leadership theory and experience of delivering Soft skill and Management development programmes
- Degree in Business, training or equivalent
- Creative by nature and have an engaging communication style
- Experience of driving L&D in a changing environment
- Passionate, pragmatic and collaborative, confident in working across all job levels and functions
