LPR Sensors Engineer (ANPR)

Job description / Role

Position Summary:
Manages the License Plate Recognition (LPR) engineering activities throughout the product life-cycle. The LPR engineer is required to work within a complex matrix environment to analyse software, work closely with the system engineers and understand what happens in the field.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for sensors definition, system design, implementation and support within the company
- Drives and manages all technical aspects related to LPR product and engineering efforts
- Strong stakeholder management with internal, external, clients and vendors
- Responsible for image processing and large integration
- Design the modification of product to meet the clients requirements
- Test, integrate of product into the current systems
- Conduct statement of work

Requirements

Education / Certification Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or computer science

Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 year experience in design or system engineering.
- Methodical, proactive and capable of working independently; ownership driven
- Proven experience managing product life cycle (design, development, manufacturing)
- Product QA and integration tests (both operational and environmental) - Advantage
- Experienced in methodical development and engineering working processes
- Experience in working on large scale outdoor deployment system integration
