The RoleThe Role1. Manages daily operational activities of the analytical, physical testing and product testing laboratories directly or through senior laboratory personnel. 2. Monitors full compliance of the laboratories to the established standards and requirements for laboratory quality, health, environmental protection and safety. 3. Provides technical, behavioral and organizational leadership, as well as team management. 4. Manages technical aspects of the lab operation, ensuring that properly maintained and controlled instrumentation is operated by adequately skilled and trained staff, proper procedures are followed, and the test results are validated and interpreted by experts in their respective fields. 5. Directs technical TPRC projects with significant analytical content. 6. Represents and promotes TPRC laboratories to the main Tasnee internal partners (e.g. Technical Marketing) and to the external customers, educational and professional organizations. 7. Continually expands and adjusts analytical and testing capabilities, according to the changing needs of the Organization. Supervise qualification of suppliers, new equipment specification and justification, as well as installation verification and validation of new instrumentation. 8. Manages departmental budget and expenses, according to the directives provided by the TPRC General Manager. |
