Description and Desired Qualifications CH2M HILL - Land Surveyor - Abu Dhabi, UAE The challenge? Helping ensure the supply of our world' oil and gas. At CH2M HILL, we deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the oil industry. Our Land Surveyor job will provide you with the opportunity to work in a Project Management Consultant capacity on an exciting large scale sour gas development located within some the largest sand dunes in the world. This project represents a new era in gas development and will set a benchmark for the world gas processing and treatment industry. You should be a self motivated, detail oriented professional with a minimum of 15 years experience working within the oil and gas industry and a minimum of five years working within the GCC.Our Land Surveyor: Basic Function & Scope Field duties will include direction and coordination of one or more survey parties on larger, complex, (and sometimes remote) projects. Office duties will include research, preparation, and planning, along with data reduction and final processing for the field activities stated above. On projects that include boundary resolution and R/W acquisition, the Surveyor may be required to prepare and record a Record of Surveys, legal descriptions and plats, and other legal documents that may be required. Will participate in developing the scope of work and estimate of costs for proposed projects, often in short time frames. Mentoring of subordinates is expected, along with the assignment and delegation of responsible tasks to those employees. Basic Qualifications Key qualifications for this position include: A Bachelors degree or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
