Land Surveyor (Infrastructure)

Our client is a reputable Qatari contractor holding Grade A status with the Qatari government. They have a large profile of projects within Qatar, and they are looking to expand their presence. Currently our client is in urgent need of a Land Surveyor specializing in infrastructure projects. Applicants should have worked on infrastructure projects previously.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reads and understands drawings site construction.
- Lead and participate in a variety of survey operations such as topographical survey, leveling, setting out, and as built survey using a full range of survey equipment.
- Prepares calculations related to surveying and basic engineering.
- Interprets and analyses raw field data records to check its completeness.
- Keeps accurate records and sketches to describe works performed.
- Verifies the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculation.
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
- Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
- Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
- Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.

Requirements

- Previous experience on infrastructure projects.
- Contracting background.
- Must be civil engineer.
- No outstanding NOC issues.
- Must have previous GCC experience.
- 5+ years experience as land surveyor.
