We are seeking for a highly disciplined and experienced individual to fill the position of Landscape Architect to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing internal and external landscape projects and providing design services on a daily basis.
* Design, detail, specify & administer landscape schemes.
* Working to defined budgets and the time constraints of projects.
* Provide a variety of technical & professional support.
* Input into various bids and project opportunities
* Input into technical reviews and monthly Project Reviews as required
* Role in projects as designer, project manager, and technical advisor.
* Site survey, appraisal, sketch design & costing of landscape schemes
* Detailed design & preparation of contract documents & specifications.
* Liaison with Clients and other internal departments.
* Attends regular Team meetings & in-house training sessions.
* Manages the preparation & presentation of reports as required.
* To optimise the use of the IT hardware and software available to the Team.
* Compliance with Corporate policies.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors in Landscape Architecture or closely related field required, Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture and Planning, Urban Design, Nature Resource or Architecture preferred.
* Experience of a wide variety of project types & work stages
* Proven track record of successfully managing teams, projects of all sizes, and is highly regarded by peers.
* 4-7 Years professional experience
* CMLI, RLA, AILA, or equivalent or in progress of achieving chartership/registration
* Good oral communication skills
* Good written communication skills
* Ability to develop work programmes and deliver within the agreed time frame
* Ability to demonstrate strong, innovative design and graphical skills
* Ability to develop, deliver, and work within fee targets
* A Client focus
* Ability to learn quickly
* Ability to learn & apply new software applications.
* Ability to prioritise tasks
* Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, & to balance competing demands whilst maintaining a mature & sensitive approach to colleagues.
* Ability and willingness to travel within & outside the Middle East region for the needs of the business.
* Proficiency in using:
+ Microsoft Office
+ AutoCAD
+ Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
