Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Inspector for all landscape construction includes hardscape construction, softscape construction, irrigation systems, setting out points and levels and landscape lighting schemes.

Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Documents nonconformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution. Inspection activities are usually concentrated in one of the following areas: soils, concrete, mechanical, or electrical.

Review & approve materials samples and/ or equipment submissions from contractors, review & approve contractors shop drawings, mock ups and calculations, and keep records of works. Also, all associated sign off of procedures.

Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

Diploma in Landscaping with minimum 5 years experience infrastructure projects preferably in the Gulf region. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction-related processes related to area of assignment.

Must be very good communicator in both verbal and written in English.
