Job description / Role
- Oversee the activities of assigned personnel in the Mechanical section to execute planned and routine maintenance on plant equipment.
- Use CMMS as a tool to plan work execute and update technical information for analysis and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot plant problems, recommend engineering solutions.
- Provide technical reports to Management.
- Raise Purchase and Vocabulary addition request for plant materials / spares.
- Prepare component/equipment repair procedures.
- Liaise with Vendors/Specialist agents to employ specialist services.
- Mentor and develop UAE nationals.
- Identify training needs for site workforce.
- Prepare Operating/Capital budgets and exercise control within close limits.
- Participate in HAZOPs, technical reviews, Risk Assessment, Safety Audits.
- Use new technology advise to optimize resource utilization.
Requirements
- Aged 40-45.
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 15 years experience in maintenance and application of Mechanical equipment associated with the oil refining or petro-chemical industry, minimum 10 of which should have been in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience of Technical Services will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English with technical report writing skills.
