Lead Commercial Marketing Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

This is an exciting opening to join our successful Marketing department in Doha as a Lead Commercial Marketing Officer.

This will be a key position focusing on campaigns on a global basis, using all the tools available to you to ensure commercial results can be delivered.

In this role you will be leading global tactical marketing programs designed to meet the commercial objectives of Qatar Airways as well as working with internal stakeholders to deliver marketing strategies, programs and campaigns to support the organization.

You will design and implement a marketing approach for Retail\Tactical strategy for the company. You must project lead the line requirements for global\pan regional tactical promotions by interfacing with the internal implementation of central tactical campaigns (consumer & trade focused) by integrating with relevant disciplines at HQ and ensure successful roll-out across regions.

You will be responsible for consulting with regional marketing managers and central commercial teams regularly and use strategic planning tools to identify issues and opportunities for revenue generation. You will work with internal design team and creative agency to ensure integrated campaigns and coordinate regional requirements and ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, specialising in Marketing is an advantage. You will have a minimum of 5 years job-related experience required in Marketing within Airline\Hospitality industry or Retail marketing environment.

You will need to be an expertise in various disciplines of Marketing Communication such as advertising, media, direct marketing, below the line and online advertising. Moreover, you must be fluent with excellent command in English.

Strong Commercial acumen, excellent communication and project management are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organisation in a multi-cultural environment.
