The RoleThe RoleResponsible for all assigned Post-Award Contract Administration functions. Provides supervision and contractual guidance to Construction Staff within the Department, negotiation and administration. Responsible for protecting the Royal Commission and Company interests in all contractual matters and insuring policies are complied with as well as insuring legal and contractual compliance in all contractual matters. Reports functionally to the Supervisor, Contract Administration. Provides guidance to Construction staff as needed, negotiations and administration. Interfaces with Senior Management personnel in establishing procedures and problem resolution. Negotiates directly with senior contractor personnel. |
RequirementsRequirementsJob Responsibilities: 1. Provides legal and contractual guidance to Contract Administration staff, several Managers/SRCMs/RCMs within the Department. 2. Reviews work of Administrators for correctness, policy, and procedural compliance. 3. Plans Post-Award contract activities and administrative schedules to complete administrative tasks. 4. Advises appropriate Manager on contractual matters and is the principal advisor at the Project level with regard to the strategy for, and the conduct and recording of contract modification negotiations. 5. Performs Contract Administration duties and participates in the evaluation/negotiations process of Contract Modification as and when required. 6. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director, Construction Dept. and the Supervisor-CA.
