Lead Cost Manager

Our client is a leading cost management consultant in the Middle East. They view property and construction assets as having complex, integrated lifecycles. This consultant delivers a portfolio of services along this lifecycle, from concept through design and construction to the management and maintenance of a project or asset. They are one of the leading asset management and construction consultants, established for more than 100 years.

We are looking for a Lead Cost manager for a Cost Consultancy based in Qatar providing key client engagement in a number of projects.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of tender documentation and tender analysis protocols
- Good working knowledge of FIDIC (and other forms of contract)
- Good working knowledge of change management, provision of estimates and overall budget control
- Post contract administration services of consultants and contractors
- Good working knowledge of variations, claims, quantum assessments and provision of contractual advice
- Good working knowledge of consultants and contractor agreements, disputes and notices procedures
- Proven ability to prepare reports as required by the client and other stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Quality control; compliance with policies and procedures

Requirements

- A degree in Quantity surveying
- MRICS qualification or equivalent (essential)
- Minimum of 10 years experience
- Middle East or international experience preferred
- Strong experience in delivery of cost consultancy services
- Computer literacy and excellent communication skills

Attractive salary of between 50-60K QAR per month, all inclusive plus flights and medical for the correct candidate.
