Lead Design Architect

A regionally successful design consultancy firm with a strong reputation in quality design and focus. Headquartered in Dubai, their design practiced has flourished over the years through exceptional relationship management and investing in their talented team of designers and engineers. Due to a demand for growth in the business the company are seeking a Lead Design Architect keen to further their career development.

As a Lead Design Architect you will an active member of the Management structure expected to run a design portfolio of projects independently. Adhering, enforcing and maintaining agreed standards with the project teams will be essential in addition to providing assistance to the Senior Management team and the Managing Partner to improve the overall performance of the Practice. You will also provide the Design Manager with imaginative, well presented and functional concepts based on the project brief delivered by the above. Project deliverables will include assisting with enquiries and development of proposals, providing a full and detailed project appraisal and design brief, developing and provide direction on concept and schematic design. You will create detailed designs making sure that design intent is maintained through the whole project phases. Managerial responsibilities will include leadership, communication, delegation, motivation, performance appraisals, financial management and marketing.

Requirements

Degree qualified Architect with at least 5 years experience at a managerial level. Candidate’s from an Architectural design consultancy background is essential. Exceptional hospitality and retail design will be a strong fit for this company. A confident, articulate, highly presentable and consistent creative talent will attain success in this role. As a responsible team player you will also possess an excellent work ethic that is demonstrated in all business related activities. Fluency in English is a must.
