Lead Digital Content Website Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

The Lead Digital Content Website Officer vacancy is an exciting opening that will be placed within the Digital section of Qatar Airways Marketing department. The role will be based in Doha, Qatar.

Contribute to the planning and executing a website and content strategy that drives customer engagement, consideration, and sales. The Lead Digital Content Management Officer will be responsible for coordination and administration of the website & content distribution across our portfolio of digital assets, the role will work with internal/external stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operational:
Contribute to the creation of content for advertising and marketing communication which includes developing web campaigns, infographics, etc. Project manage the content strategy and manage content calendar with internal stakeholders, Manage content on the QR/microsite websites by working with stakeholders to understand their requirements and assist in translating those needs to an exceptional online experience.

Direct/vendor relationships for creative, technical, hosting, and development needs to support digital projects, Review site content; including proofreading, fact checking, data, and media and update as required. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, subject matter experts, writers, editors, designers, and/or third party vendors to deliver against content strategy.

Develop knowledge of QR brand, messaging, and tone of voice for appropriate content creation, Use customer journey maps to assist in creating content that aligns with the needs of the customer, incorporate quantitative and qualitative feedback, and work to continuously improve content to enhance the customer experience, Balance multiple concurrent projects assignments with shifting priorities across a shared resource pool in a fast-paced and high volume environment, continually refine the user interface/user experience, Work with IT team on CMS enhancements.

Can manage stakeholders independently and effectively communicate stakeholder needs to otters, Generate enthusiasm and can do attitude that inspire others to join them in their vision, Generate new ideas that inspire, entertain, and educate our guests, Work independently.

Development:
Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth expertise, Continually discover and seek out purveyors of great content, storytelling, and photography with the goal of being exceptional. Interested in continually improving their skills on website development, UX, UI, and SEO and proactively seeks way to do so.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in business, marketing, You must have 5 years website management experience, Video/photography story-boarding, copy-writing experience advantage- knowledge of design applications, audio and video production.

Proven experience building relationship across the business, consulting with key stakeholders, and delivering projects on-time, on-budget, knowledge of web design, development, and user experience. Proven ability to storyboard, copy write, and edit content.
