Due to growth and expansion, we are currently looking for a Lead Engineer - Process to be based in Dubai for work in Iraq for an international oil company.

Responsibilities:
•Supervise Process Engineering work for projects, studies and proposals.
•Perform Engineering deliverables in an efficient manner.
•Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).Complete tasks in less than budgeted man-hours.
•Participate in Project Review Meetings and Reports.
•Responsible to Process and Project Manager for schedules and budgets.Material and heat balance calculations and thermal rating of heat exchangers.
•Process Flow Diagrams and accompanying Heat and Material Balances/Stream summary.
•Prepare, assume all responsibility and own all Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) within designated area.
•Prepare tie-in control schedule, which is consistent with the P&ID.Perform hydraulic calculations (line sizing and preparation of line designation table, relief valve sizing).Interface/coordinate with other disciplines for design development.
•Participate in HAZOP review, coordinate HAZOP action items, and initiate and manage any changes to the P&D as a result.Interact with Quality Assurance for quality issues; strictly ensure compliance with Company’s ISO.Quality procedures.
•Coordinate Internal and Client audit requests; facilitate audit procedures of engineering systems within the department.
•Lead the preparation of design and equipment calculations and diagrams for identification and verification of equipment parameters including calculations for valve sizes, pumps, vessels, exchangers, columns, safety valves, control valves, shutdown valves, line sizing, logic diagrams, logic diagrams, adequacy checks, Relief and Blow down, sizing calculations, cause-and-effect charts.
•Heat and mass balance calculations and shutdown logic for completion of P&ID’s, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Product Data Sheets (PDS), provide input to the various downstream engineering disciplines for document preparation to vendors for Bid Invitations.

Requirements

Education and Skills

•Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
•Minimum 12 years' experience in a similar role.
•Must have previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
