Lead Engineer - Video Conferencing

AECOM is looking to recruit a Lead Engineer - Video Conferencing to be based in the UAE.

Information Technology (IT) in AECOM has been going through a journey over the last several years. The current IT organization has put in place the structure to enable the integration of disparate businesses into a vertically integrated AECOM and started the advancement of a global IT infrastructure and a global communications platform. It also has implemented an Oracle enterprise environment.

This position will greatly influence the technology posture of Video Conferencing globally which include the in-room and desktop conferencing technology. Key responsibilities will include;
- Administer and manage the video environment which includes Cisco CUCM, TelePresence Server, VCS/VCSE & TMS
- Manage edge device registrations on CUCM and VCS
- Manage bridge resources - TPS & Codian
- Provision new desktop users
- Monitor health of the video environment
- Schedule conferences and provide assistance during conferences as required
- Develop strategy and architecture for the future of video technology in AECOM and execute to the approved plan
- Work with internal business users and external customers to evaluate, design, estimate and deploy new video solutions
- Perform network readiness and telephony assessments
- Coordinate new installation of video endpoints on the network and on core video bridges
- Review site plans and room venues for new installations; continually improve existing installations to meet evolving business demand
- Support special projects and events assigned by manager
- Point of contact for new video installations and onboarding/testing legacy video systems
- Researches and evaluates new relevant technologies
- Act as the video SME within AECOM
- Provides 24x7 production support to the enterprise
- Provides World Class Customer Service to internal and external customers
- Performs troubleshooting (including network) to isolate and diagnose problems related to the video technologies
- Prepares and maintains documentation of the video configurations, room layouts and other relevant information

Requirements

- At least 3 years experience in designing, installing, configuring complex video systems, specifically Cisco-Tandberg video systems, Cisco CTS TelePresence solutions with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager), VCS Control, VCS Expressway, CTS-Mgr, TMS
- At least 5 years experience in H323 / SIP / MGCP / SCCP protocol configuration experience
- At least 3 years experience in configuring and troubleshooting MCUs, Videoconferencing gateways, Cisco/Tandberg HD Video Endpoints, Polycom HD Video Endpoint, Cisco/Tandberg Movi, and Cisco CTS TelePresence solutions
- Demonstrated experience with Unity Connection & Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE)
- At least 2 years experience in Cisco IP Telephones, Cisco Unity, Cisco CUPS, and Cisco UCCX.
- At least 2 years experience in Cisco (Tandberg/Codian) MSE8000/8710/8510 MCU systems
- At least 1 year experience in Cisco Show and Share, Cisco TelePresence Recording Studio, Cisco TelePresence Conductor
- Working knowledge of other HD Videoconferencing solutions
- At least 3 years experience in IP networking, routing, switching, and Cisco IOS command line.
- Certified in Tandberg, CCNP, CCVP, CCNA a plus
