Lead MDM Architect

Job description / Role

Provide conceptual and technical leadership for the banks Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives. Own the MDM architecture, design and other aspects of implementation as assigned. Manage and lead resources in fulfilling the banks multi-year MDM vision. Manage and lead the definition and rationalization of business requirements across all business units. Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, PMO and business stakeholders for successful implementation. Make key contributions to EIM vision to enable data as a high-value, high-ROI managed corporate asset for the bank.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor up to 5 MDM resources
- Provide on-going MDM thought leadership to stakeholders
- Produce, rationalize and maintain MDM vision, roadmap, business case, business and technical requirements, architecture and design
- Provide key contributions to MDM implementation and sustainment planning
- Provide architectural oversight during MDM implementation efforts
- Liaise closely with other members of Enterprise Information Management unit, Enterprise Projects and Architecture Department and other bank stakeholders
- Other tasks as assigned by Head of EIM

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years in Information Technology
- 5 years architecting and implementing Master Data Management solutions for Customer and/or Product domains
- End-to-end full life cycle MDM experience
- 2 years experience with either of IBM, Oracle or TIBCO MDM solutions; alternately 3+ years experience with other mainstream MDM solutions
- 3 years in Banking and/or Financial Services
- 2 year project management experience or minimum 4 years team leadership experience
- 4 years managing resources
- Arabic speaking or western educated

Experience with Organizational MDM (Employee, Location etc), esp. Oracle is a plus.
