The RoleThe RoleJob Title: Leads Methods Engineer Location: Benghazi – Libya Salary: $6500 USD + Rotation 9 Weeks on 3 Weeks off (All travel Paid for), Accommodation, Food and Medical Global EPC Contracting Company are looking for a ‘Leads Methods Engineer’ to work on a large $500 Million heavy civils Airport project in Libya, for which they are the main EPC Contractor on the project. Scope, Task and Responsibilities: • Work closely with internal design, construction and planning teams and sub contractors/ vendors to select the most appropriate execution methods for all elements/ disciplines on the project. • Check design information and resolve any discrepancies or interface issues with engineering, planning or construction teams as appropriate • Coordinate the production of the appropriate method statements and other supporting documentation both internally and by sub contractors/ vendors. • Review the methodology documentation to ensure it complies with the contract obligations, is practical and realistic in terms of sequencing and interfaces and is a safe system of work. • Resolving any execution issues as they arise with the relevant persons |
RequirementsRequirementsQualifications and Experience: • University Bachelor's degree (B.S) in Civil Engineering or Building • 15+ Years experience in construction industry and specific experience in commercial buildings • Minimum 5 years experience as a contractors design coordinator or temporary works engineer • Overseas experience would be advantageous Knowledge: • Extensive technical and practical knowledge in the application of engineering, construction, inspection and testing practices. • Understanding of industry or regulatory codes and standards and design criteria • Familiar with Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel,AUTOCAD, Email etc). Communication Skills: • Advanced communication skills in spoken and written English are essential.
