Job description / Role
You will be required to lead all activities related to the field of design on EPC projects. This includes supervising the team in the preparation and co-ordination of design and detail drawings ensuring deadlines are met and that work is completed to the required quality standards.
You will plan and co-ordinate all project activities including the provision of design and technical information, ensuring accuracy, completeness and delivery within schedule and allocated manpower budget. You will also monitor progress and prepare regular reports for management, addressing any significant variances in manpower budget expenditure together with recommendations for corrective action, if necessary.
In addition, you will check / approve pipeline alignment sheets and calculations, understanding in field survey data and other pipeline design deliverables. This means you will be covering a range of standards and codes such as API , BS ASME NACE and AWWA.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be educated to a minimum of Degree level in Mechanical Engineering with at least 12 years' post-graduation experience of which at least 8 years' should be focused on Pipeline Engineering in the O&G EPC sector.
You should have been a Senior or Lead Engineer on at least 3 EPC projects where you had to lead in the checking / approving of pipeline alignment sheets and calculations. It is essential you have an understanding of in field survey data and other pipeline design deliverables such as codes and standards.
