Job description / Role
This is a 2 Years Fixed Contract
JOB PURPOSE:
To assist in managing the various Maintenance Planning Strategies/Activities of ORYX GTLs plants/specific units in order to execute the MOR process through the at most utilization of SAP system.
Department Goal Setting:
Contribute to set department goal with Head of Planning according to the OS annual scorecard and review the Actual vs Planned targets every weekly & monthly. Take appropriate action to meet the target requirements.
Dept Strategy Formulation:
Assist Head of Planning to the formulation and implementation of the Operations Support department strategy and plan as appropriate to the department needs and objectives.
Section Management:
Ensure the work process are implemented in the section as designed and comply with established standards and procedures.
Operations Support Planning & Scheduling:
Assist Head of Planning in managing the appropriateness and robustness of advanced plans in order to optimise necessary maintenance activities effectively.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
Assist Head of Planning in managing the preparation of the Operation support planning unit budget using inputs from function heads and monitor financial performance versus the budget sothat the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capatilised upon.
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:
- Ensure that all the equipment strategies are converted into Maintenance Plans in SAP and they are scheduled ontime.
- Plan and Schedule all assigned maintenance work by creating and updating maintenance plans,coordinating all scheduled work orders and checking notifications for quality and accuracy.
- Ensure the refurbishment procedures are followed and maintained by Maintenance Planners and Maintenance supervisors.
- Share the workload when Maintenance Planner goes on vacation or due to any shortage of manpower.
- Manage all small short shutdowns of the major equipments.
- Support Shutdown Planning during annual turnaround or any emergency shutdowns.
- Ensure the effectiveness of daily PDR and weekly Job pickup meetings.
- Follow up with Maintenance Planners for the execution of planned and scheduled maintenance work orders.
- Ensure that all opportunity jobs are carried out during any emergency and planned shutdowns.
- Ensure that the weekly KPI and monthly reports are updated on time.
- Prepare inputs for weekly STPP and monthly MTPP meetings.
- Audit all works carried out by Maintenance Planners time to time for the quality check.
- Do plant inspection bi-weekly with Production and Maintenance team for equipment integrity and house keeping.
- Ensure that all equipment leak jobs & Safety defects are planned and executed on time.
- Ensure that all necessary feedback information are provided in the work order by the Maintenance Supervisors for WO confirmations in SAP.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- At least 4 years experience in Operations - Maintenance in Planning and Execution.
- Experience in Functioning within a plant is required.
