Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer

Our client is one of the largest LNG producing companies in the world. They are currently looking for Lead Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for providing expertise and technical leadership to the organization.
This position will functionally report to the Head of Facilities Engineering with responsibilities for supporting Engineering projects within the company.

Job Purpose

* Performs mechanical calculations and technical analysis on various custom components and reviews mechanical design of all kind of Rotating Equipment such as turbines, motors, and compressors; to ensure that the company's specification and industries codes and standards are met.
* Prepares and presents technical reports, equipment data sheets, MRQ's, TBE's and MRP's, and makes recommendations on critical engineering issues;
* Work with Project engineering team and co-ordinates engineering effort through other disciplines as well
* Leads and reviews project design decisions, budgets, and scheduling;

Requirements

* Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Between 15-20 years of related experience within an EPC, Oil & Gas, and FEED/ Detail engineering experience. Owner Operated engineering experience is also required.
* Registration with ASME is desired.
* Must have experience with different types of mechanical equipment including Pressure Vessels, Piping, Heat Exchangers tanks and packaged equipment.
* Fully coherent in all international codes and standards relevant to the above equipment, specifically relevant ASME and API.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Heads/Managers, employees, customers and the project engineering department.
