Major multi-disciplinary consultancy
Design Role
Based in Kuwait
Our client is a major consultancy with a strong foothold on the local market based in Kuwait. Due to ongoing growth and continued success, an opportunity has arisen for a Lead Structural Engineer to join the Design arm of our clients office based in Kuwait.
The Lead Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing structures for various projects, and handling related projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, quality requirements and contract obligations in order to fulfill client requirements.
To ensure that structural system designs enhance and support the aesthetic visions portrayed within architectural designs whilst considering other factors
Requirements
- Degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Structural Engineering / Civil Engineering or relevant related discipline
- Accreditation by a recognized professional body, such as CEng, MIStructE or similar is highly advantageous
- Possess 12-18 years experience in design and supervision on a construction field
- Proven track record working with reputable Engineering consultancies
- Experience working in the Middle East is preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills are a pre-requisite of the role.
